The Life of the Party - A Mothers story of losing her vibrant daughter to suicide
This week we talk in depth to Angela, a mum remembering her daughter, Katrina , a young beautiful woman full of life, laughter and personality - one who was described as the life and soul of the party. Kat bought light and energy to the people around her. But behind that bright spirit was a struggle few could see. Seven months into her grief journey Angela then lost her husband, Damian to suicide. This is a powerful conversation about suicide loss, grief, stigma and how we all grieve so differently. Angela now heads a charity called BAGS for Strife, for people bereaved by suicide, wanting to help others whose journey is just beginning. She explains in the podcast all the fantastic and much needed work the charity is doing. please check out www.bagsforstrife.co.uk
